Channing Tatum’s Gambit movie has been officially cancelled by Disney. I’m surprised it was still somehow in production, considering how long it’s been stuck in development hell. I’m not exactly bothered by this. I like Tatum as an actor but to me, he just doesn’t feel like Gambit.

Anyway, this is a smart move by Disney. If they’re going to completely reboot the X-Men (which at this point is sorely needed), Gambit is a great choice to lead the new iteration without having to worry too much about recasting Wolverine, at least for the time being.

Are you upset that Gambit has been cancelled? Or are you, like me, glad that we’re finally moving away from Fox’s X-Men?

Also, Disney have revealed release dates for 8 new movies in the MCU, although they haven’t said which films they were.

  • May 1st, 2020 – Untitled Marvel Movie
  • November 6th, 2020 –  Untitled Marvel Movie
  • February 12th, 2021 – Untitled Marvel Movie
  • May 7th, 2021 – Untitled Marvel Movie
  • November 5th, 2021 – Untitled Marvel Movie
  • February 18th, 2022 – Untitled Marvel Movie
  • May 6th, 2022 – Untitled Marvel Movie
  • July 29th, 2022-  Untitled Marvel Movie

We can, however, speculate seeing as we know a few films that are in production…

  • The Eternals (starring Angelina Jolie and Kumail Nanjiani)
  • Black Widow (starring Scartlett Johansson and Florence Pugh)
  • Shang-Chi
  • Doctor Strange 2
  • Black Panther 2
  • Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

Which leaves 2 more. Ant-Man 3? Fantastic Four? Captain Britain and The Black Knight? Which film are you looking forward to the most? Let us know below, thanks for reading!
