Who would have ever thought that teaming Batman up with The Ninja Turtles would be something we wanted? Well a lot of people, as the concept has been around in DC Comics for a few years now. However Warner Bros. Animation have recently released a film based on the six-part comic book series, and it’s bloody good. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as I have with plenty of the DC Animation films.

Batman, Robin and Batgirl find themselves teaming up with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who have followed the treacherous Foot Clan to Gotham City. The Evil Shredder allies himself with Batman Universe Mega Villain Ra’s Al Ghul, and they set plans in motion to destroy the City.

Expect laughs and lots of Easter eggs to look out for, with some great visual tie-ins to the old Batman and Turtles cartoons. Check out the original comic book series by James Tynion and Freddie Williams.
