With EA still in charge of Star Wars video games for the foreseeable future, it’s hard to get too excited about any forthcoming game in the franchise, but this time EA insist they’ve learned from their mistakes after the 2 current gen Battlefront games and have dropped a new gameplay trailer for their next title, ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ at this years E3. Watch it below…

My thoughts? I’m in… for now. The biggest problem of the first Battlefront for me was that the single player mode was basically just a few training missions before having nothing to do but play online, in which you would spawn and get killed within 30 seconds and never had the opportunity to have much fun. That already put me off even bothering with the sequel, and when I saw the uproar around its ‘pay to win’ system and loot boxes, I just didn’t even see the point. This definitely looks more like my sort of thing, but I will remain cautious. I know better than to consider this a release day purchase, so I will wait to see what the general consensus is before buying.
